With a deep exploration of the complex friendship between two very different personalities, contrasting outlooks, and a shared love interest, and the deeper social commentary on the corrupt rule of the Wizard of Oz threatening a seemingly perfect world, everybody and anybody is bound to get drawn into the enthralling storytelling, wonderful theatrics, nuanced and interesting characters, and, of course, composer Stephen Schwartz’s incredible score.
